TUSTIN — Today, Assemblyman Mike Fong endorsed Dr. Asif Mahmood’s congressional campaign to flip CA-40.
“Dr. Mahmood will be a major asset to Congress,” said Fong. “He has dedicated his career to improving the lives of others and will be a champion for California families. He’s exactly the kind of leader we need more of — someone focused on results and actually helping families.”
Asif has worked as a pulmonologist and doctor of internal medicine for over twenty years, serves on the California Medical Board, and donates his time to free clinics. Outside of his work as a physician, Dr. Mahmood actively volunteers with organizations such as UNICEF and Valley Rescue Mission.
