I have witnessed firsthand the destruction guns can cause while working in emergency rooms. We all have seen the terror they’ve caused nationwide as of late. While I support the second amendment, there is no doubt that we need to strengthen our gun safety laws. I will work to reinstate the assault weapons ban and pass background check legislation to protect our children and communities.
But after each mass shooting in schools and churches, Congresswoman Kim has consistently opposed all of these common-sense efforts to make our country safer.
