Too many of our families can’t keep up with the rising housing costs, groceries, gas, and overall cost of living while seeing their incomes stay the same. We need more problem solvers in Congress who will fight to protect consumers against corporate price gouging. I will fight to reduce taxes for the middle class and eliminate tax breaks for special interest groups and big corporations who send production and jobs overseas.
I will fight to increase American production of the things that are in most demand – housing, pharmaceutical drugs, microchips, and other important consumers goods, and I will fight to lower the cost of higher education, preschool and early childhood education, workforce training and other critical opportunities that help our families succeed.
As a member of Congress, I will work hard to support economic growth throughout the district. We will work to keep good-paying jobs in CA-40 while bringing in new employers and industries.
I also believe every worker deserves a living wage in a safe work environment, which is why it is critical that workers have access to good union jobs. I support the rights of workers to organize.
