TUSTIN — Today, labor leader and civil rights activist Dolores Huerta announced her support of Dr. Asif Mahmood in the CA-40 Congressional race.
“Dr. Mahmood is a fierce advocate for families,” said Huerta. “He will actually help people through his work in Congress, rather than playing political games.”
Dr. Mahmood has been a leader in Southern California for over twenty years, both in his practice and through nonprofit work. He volunteers extensively with organizations like UNICEF and Valley Rescue Mission and donates his time to free clinics.
Asif believes that helping others is our highest calling, a philosophy instilled in him by his parents.
