Dr. Mahmood Received 94% of Delegate Vote in Race to Defeat Rep. Young Kim
TUSTIN — At this weekend’s California Democratic Party convention, physician and congressional candidate Dr. Asif Mahmood officially clinched the party’s endorsement in the race to defeat Representative Young Kim. Dr. Mahmood received a whopping 94% of district delegates’ vote.
“I am honored by the support our campaign has received from residents and grassroots volunteers of the 40th district,” said Dr. Mahmood. “Families in this district want a representative who will actually focus on solving their problems — not political games. I have spent my career as a physician helping people. We need a representative who will take that approach in Washington.”
