TUSTIN — UNITE Here Local 11 today announced their endorsement of Dr. Asif Mahmood in the race to flip CA-40 and defeat Rep. Young Kim. They are the first labor organization to endorse in the race.
“Dr. Mahmood will be a strong voice for working families in CA-40,” said Ada Briceño, Co-President of UNITE HERE Local 11. “As a physician with a long history of giving back to the community, Dr. Mahmood understands our families’ needs. He is exactly the kind of problem-solver we need more of in Washington. We are excited to endorse him in this race.”
